...as one state award. Mr. Clements taught in the public schools in northern Chicago for seven years before moving east to begin his job in publishing. Currently he is a full-time writer, he lives in central Massachusetts with his wife and their four children. The reason I chose the book was because in the story Frindle he really made the characters come alive. Speaking of characters there are two main characters in this book, Mr. Maxwell and Mark. Mr. Maxwell is a fifth grade teach, which teaches at Hardy Elementary School. He is the organizer and leader of the “ A Week In The Woods” program.
