To answer the question of how many years it would take for the printer to depreciate to $10,000 I first tried to plug in numbers that are between 7 and 8 since I know that the value for the 8th year is too low and the 7th year’s value is too high. When that didn’t work I figured out how much the printer needed to depreciate to hit $10,000 by subtracting $10,000 from $35,000 to get $25,000.
