I remember that he had a different pair of glasses for everything he did. However, anyone who could see perfectly, could see that this man was ill. Nobody knew for sure what he was diagnosed with, but his symptoms were very obvious. Several of his peers and colleagues, even some of his students tried to tell him that he should consider retiring. But for some reason, the old man kept on teaching. I’m not sure about the way he thought about it, but anyone could clearly see that this man was in pain. Or was he?
