It became popular when the terrorism was brought to our country and hurt or killed many innocent people, on September 11th. From there, the president, decided that justice needs to be served. II. We learned a good lesson on September the 11th, 2001. I say a good lesson, it better be a good lesson, it was a sad day, but we learned a lesson, and that is that oceans will no longer protect us from the threats of a new era. The world has also learned that we're determined. And the terrorists are learning that they are not safe -- anywhere on Earth. We will have to stop any kind of terrorism before it gets a chance to get here. We all said an oath be fore we enlisted and in that oath it said “we will protect all enemies, foreign and domestic.” And that is how we got to where we are. They are our military family, and they are showing no fear in protecting all of the people in the United States. Although the problem is not only in Iraq and Afghanistan, we can only start one place at a time; to get rid of the threats that impel us to be somewhat paranoid at the possibility of an attack on the freedoms we keep.
