There was a very short introduction to each of the characters, and it seemed as though the beginning of the movie was more like the middle of the story. He also states, “For starters, one has to fault Anderson for making a movie called “Alien vs. Predator” that only features, at most, 15 minutes of actual alien on predator action (Haar).” I agree to this statement as well. I wanted to see more action and less drama. The scenes of both of the species fighting were only glimpses of what should have been the main purpose of the movie itself. Sure the costumes were updated a little more, but I couldn’t even notice seeing as though I didn’t have a chance to actually look at either one of the species. Another reviewer - who somehow enjoyed this film - states, “It's entirely possible this will be the last time these creatures appear on screen. If that's the case, they went out with a bang and, more significantly, with a certain degree of over the top, tongue in cheek style (Kisonak).” I wouldn’t say it “went out with a bang” only because you’re left with another opening to possible another sequel of this movie.
