Analyzing Napoleon and what he does in this novel
...s to tell the animals what they should do since Mr. Jones isn’t there at the farm anymore. All this power of leadership over the animals corrupts Napoleon later. He begins by breaking the seven commandments left by Old Major a boar that showed them how to rebel. Changing these commandments to his own convenience with the help of Squealer made the animals doubt that the commandments were ever broken. Like him deciding to sleep on a bed, which was not allowed and changed what it said to no animal should sleep on a bed with sheets. Or the one that said no animal should kill another was now said without a reason to do so. Napoleon also starts drinking when no animal was supposed to drink he had changed it to say no one shall drink it in excess. Also the one that says no animal shall wear clothes the pigs start wearing ribbons. In the end Napoleon and the pigs have broken all the command-ments and are now walking on two legs like humans. Old Major foretold all this would happen if the animals broke those commandments that everything would go back to the way it was on the farm before when Mr. Jones was around.
