Shining Silver
...a special shining and buffing cloth at your local jeweler store. The cloth will come with an inner white cloth and an outer gray cloth attached together. The first piece of cloth, folded in the inside that is white, is used for loosening tarnish. Tarnish is black marks that will appear on the silver after being handled and exposed to dirt and water. Carefully holding the white cloth rub the surface of the silver gently, slowly removing the tarnish. Sometimes we let our silver go a long time without being cared for, which wull make tarnished areas quite difficult to remove. If this is the case, just apply a small amount of water to the piece of cloth and begin to gently rub the surface again. After, removing all of the tarnish from the silver you will now know it is time for the next step, buffing your silver. To obtain an istant brilliant shine use the gray cloth to buff the surface.
