Compare and Contrast 1970s Texas Chainsaw Massacre to 2003 version

...Chainsaw Massacre, Leatherface was overweight, so it did not seem as realistic as it should. In the modern version, he was slimmer and more cut. This was changed because it does not seem real for a chubby guy carrying a chainsaw, to run as fast as a skinny girl. Leatherface collects body parts in both versions, and stores them in the basement of the house. Most of the heavy parts were hung by hooks. The more recent version shows lots of details that the other version did not. Leatherface hung some of his victims on hooks for torture, but on the modern version showed it. Another eye catcher from the seventies movie was Leatherface cross dressing. This scene was not added to the modern version, because chainsaw killers who cross dress is not as scary, as chainsaw killers who does not. He can not talk and probably can not understand half of the things his family tells him. In the seventies he is bossed around, and talked to like a child by his family members. In the modern version he is told what to do, but he also is a whole lot more aggressive. He also showed his face during this movie. It was said that he had a skin disease, which would give him a reason for murder. Leatherface survives at the end to both movies, but with one of his limbs missing. Sally and Erin are more different than similar during the massacre. Sally starred in the seventies movie, Erin starred in the modern movie. Sally is a skinny and helpless girl who yelled all the time. She was the one who survived, that everyone wanted to die. Erin is a strong and intelligent girl who deserved to survive. While on vacation, she was the only one who did not smoke or get drunk. When Leatherface would grab Sally, she would kick and scream like a helpless child. Erin would try her best to get away from him by using her brain, not her mouth. She also knew how to stay calm in situations where she needed to hide. While being chase by Leatherface, Sally ran in a big circle about three times. She also jumped through two windows when running from him. Erin on the other hand, ran to a different place every time and hid. Erin used everything she could to get away from him. She seemed as if she was a bad girl at one point in her life, because she hotwired two cars, in which one she escaped. Sally was saved by someone who was passing by in a pick-up truck. She was covered with blood from head to toe, as she rode off in the back of the truck. Erin was picked up by a truck driver, he was asking questions, but she acted like the girl they picked up early in the movie. Erin then went in the store, and took the baby while he was unattended. She then hotwired a police car to escape, saving the baby and herself. Franklin and Morgan were the two scary cats of the movies. Franklin was helpless, because he could not get around in his wheelchair like he should. He looks as if he was disabled for a while, but he still could not function properly in his wheelchair. The wheelchair was not added to the recent version, because a disabled person would just slow every one...
