...y did not see the time going. I liked when Dr K asked first the words that we first think about when we talk about the Arabic world. That means that he wanted to base his speech toward us and not the opposite, even if his program and his Power Point presentation was already made. We felt a correlation between what we were thinking and what he was going to say. The Power Point presentation was interesting thanks to the animations. Dr. K knows how to switch between humor and serious informations. We can see that it took him a long time to do it because he really tried to alternate the slides between these two characteristics, so personally, I never got bored because I was always ready for laughing and having a good time. It kept my attention during the whole day. There are never some long texts so when we look at the screen, everything seems clear just by reading the few highlighted words, keywords of the sentence. Thus, all our attention goes to Dr K’s speech. Besides, I think the program of the seminar is made judiciously. In the morning, we discussed about Middle East in general, about misunderstandings and misconceptions about this region. So people’s opinion is already more clarified, at the very beginning of the day. Some may agree and change their mind, some may stay on their opinion but at least, nobody wonder anymore about what they think about the Middle East because they got the answers to their personal questions.
