The book also examines the roles of woman and the corruption of commercialism. The role of woman was shown with Myrtle, Jordan and of course Daisy. Each woman has a distinctive personality and each reflects a different stereotype. The corruption of commercialism, I believe, is displayed through the cars that appear throughout the text. to sum things up, the Great Gatsby is interesting book involving different relationships among their peers, but also reveals some adult situations not suitable for children's reading.
