...ts are stated in the First Amendment, we don’t really have the right to Freedom of Speech. In this day and time there seems to be consequences for speaking your mind. Sometimes the truth hurts but not saying anything at all could be life changing, and not for the better. Every day we hear of someone getting into trouble for something they said. Noone has the right to determine what is or isn’t the right thing to say. Communication is the key to life and without it we are doomed. Communication requires talking, and speaking your mind is a right that every individual has. Without Freedom of Speech we lose our individuality.
