As if Schwarzenegger’s comment wasn’t childish enough lobbyist John Edgell is planning to distribute bobble head dolls of Schwarzenegger in a pink dress. Edgell shot back at Schwarzenegger, “if there is a perfect example of a girlie man it’s Arnold.” My past two years in high school I served as the treasurer for the student body. I know that student council hardly even compares to state legislature but we got in heated arguments over certain issues on a regular basis and never can I remember anyone acting as childish as these men have. These are seventeen and eighteen year old kids conducting themselves in a mature mannerly way in the heat of an argument. Why can our politicians not set a good example and conduct themselves the way they should. The stakes are very high in our government but they gain nothing from resorting to childish name calling. If these men don’t respect each other enough not to call one another silly names how are they going to solve any budget problems.
