Compare and contrast Lady Macbeth and Lady Macduff

She is an innocent woman and she believes in the good qualities of every human being around her. Also the fact that she has a child shows some of her qualities: patience kindness and discipline. Contrasts: Their personalities allow to believe that Lady Macbeth and Lady Macduff have a lot of contrasts but this is a wrong assumption. Lady Macduff shows very well in Act 2, scene 2 that she is close to her sons although she tells them that her father is a traitor. So her loyalty towards her husband seems to be in doubt. Lady Macbeth does not even have children; she is not the motherly type. Similarities: The both ladies have a lot of similarities. The reason for it could be their same gender because being a woman shows a lot of feelings for their families. Well first, obvious they are both women and so they are married. They are Scottish and were mothers because Lady Macbeth’s child passed away right after his birth. Both of them start to doubt their husbands. Lady Macbeth believes that her husband “is too full o’ the milk of human kindness” (Act 1, scene 5, line 16) and Lady Macduff, as mentioned before, tells her son that his father is a traitor. But in the same way they start to doubt them they also support them. Lady Macbeth cooperates with her husband in the brutal murder of Duncan. So she supports him in the criminal way. Lady Macduff protects her husband from some murderers and tells them that they will find him “in no place so unsanctified” (Act 4, scene 2, line 79). She also sees her husband as a good and loyal man. But their readiness to help will be rewarded with the fact that their husbands leave them later on. Macb...
