Why Walmart Sucks
...it! I have never wanted a sign in espanol posted more in my life. Read it and weep pedro 20 items or less. At the same time though I have noticed that the employees that are working these "express" lanes arn't exactly compatent. Three quarters of the time the dummy box is flashing or they are scanning items like I have all day. Oh and when the dummy box flashes do the redcoats come running? Hell no they stand at their little white podium and pow wow untill the decide that its time to look up and see if they need to work. Heck, even if I have 21 items I go stand in the regular line. Since both lines move just about the same pace, it's never really mattered too much. But, I think the problem with the 20 items or less sign, is that people don't realize that it means 20 Things in your cart. Not 20 different type of things. I've seen people go into lines (both at walmart and grocery stores) with way more than 20 items, but because they have some items that are identical, they count these items as 1. Now what I think would be funny is if the cashiers were to only ring up 20 items and then make them pay for it and have them go and stand in a regular line in order to pay for their other items that exceeded the 20 limit.
