My frog kermit

Last night I watched Kermit for over an hour and I watched him slide his slippery tongue out and slide the cricket straight into its tiny mouth, I just sat there and watched with amazement. Kermit also changes color to fit his surroundings, he will change from a dark green to blue, brown, and turquoise. It always depends on what he is standing on. The reasons for his changing of color I found out is a defense mechanism. Though I don’t think it is necessary in his cage but it is fun to watch. One thing that I enjoy the most is watching Kermit climb up the walls of his cage. He has unique webbed sticky feet that allow him to stick on the glass. When you go to pick him up with your finger he latches on and it is hard to get him off. Though it is extremely hard to pick him up because he will jump from on side of the cage to the other in just one single bound. When Kermit is thirsty he will hop over to his water dish, sit in the center of it and with a very fast motion open and shut his mouth repeatedly until he is finished.
