Single men also fall into this category, but are also in the “pocket aces” category as well. These are the best customers, because they are very generous and for the most part patient. There behavior is the same as a normal human being, just shopping for what they need and the occasional great deal that stores offer. Then there are the “pocket aces”, which another more familiar term would be shoplifters. These categories of people are difficult to pick out in most situations, mainly because they know what they are doing. The best way to figure out the shoplifters is that they never bring attention to themselves. For instance, say you are an employee at Wal-Mart and see a customer in the clothing section that is staring right at you. You do your job, which is to ask them if they need some assistance, and walk up to them. Usually the man or woman will be real short with you, have a rude attitude, or even fuss about being harassed. Occasionally they have decoys that will get your attention to remove the heat from the actually stealer. For example I was working at Sears in the merchandise pick-up and there was a lady with some kids that couldn’t be older than 10 and a stroller. It turned out that she used her kids to cause a disturbance the middle of the store while she stuffed the stroller with clothes. Their appearance can range from nice looking to very discordant.
