The young girl who bloomed to be a simple and warm lady was a consistent honor student at the same time, a school paper writer. Just like anyone of us, she likes fairytales and one of her favorites or at least liked was the Walt Disney Classic “The Little Mermaid”. The Little Mermaid negotiated with Ursula... for a pair of legs in exchange for her glorious voice so she can walk on land and be a part of our world. Little did she know that body language is an overvalued form of expression, which is often misconstructed by many of the insensitive, unconcerned persons. She used her talent to voice out what the majority of her fellow students felt through their High School Paper, because for her “the paper is a vessel of student power preciously because it is voice”. She would not want to be like Ariel who “almost lost her prince and with him, her countless sacrifices nearly went in vain.” Wherever and whenever she goes, personal and social problems cling on to her. She may run but never be too far. Personal dilemmas are really usual, especially for those who are already used to it but we must always consider the fact that no one is excluded from suffering problems. It is up to her if she is going to solve it, fight it or give up. It is just a matter of choice.
