Political Organizations and Violence
...e against the government.Under these cirumstances people have the right to use violence to achieve their goals.Despite the fact that violence is detrimental to society it dosent mean that it should be banned.There are many things which are detrimental to societ like greed,selfishness etc but this dosent mean that it can be banned. Second the argument assumes that short-term solutions can only lead to long-term problems.Well there is nothing in the argument which proves this assumption.The nature of the problems need to be more clearly defined. For the above reasons the argument stated is not tenable.It further needs some explanations to make it logical. The argument that political organizzation that uses violence to achieve its goals should be prohibited to do so ,is not entirely logically convincing since it is flawed with certain assumptions. First,the argument assumes that political organization using violence to achieve its goals are detrimental to society.There are number of reasons why this might not be true.For e.g In countries like USA it is the right to use violence by political organization,under constitution.Moreover, the nature of the violent groups should be clearly elucidated in the argument.In countries like Kashmir where people are being annihilated or deprived by their rights use violence...
