Is Dirty Talking Really So Bad?

Of course, based on what I've seen there haven't been any signs because Baker seems to be isolated in thinking dirty talking should be stopped. While others might be offended by it, nobody has seemed to have taken any sort of action to stop swearing. Smoking can kill in over twenty different ways, for example many different forms of cancer. Smoking reduces your life by 20-25 years. In 1993 alone, tobacco use was responsible for 3 million deaths. In the mid-1990s, about 25 percent of all male deaths in developed countries were due to smoking. Dirty talking, on the other hand, kills no one. It is at worst a slight inconvenience or annoyance to anyone offended by it. The fact that Baker finds it more annoying that people swear around him is good for him, but someone should really inform him that it isn't the swearing that will harm his health, quite possibly killing him eventually. Baker has no facts proving that using profanities are harmful. He is strictly basing it on his personal preferences. He is trying to make his readers believe that because he himself does not like profanities that we should stop using profanities and do our best to prevent others from using them. Does this guy not watch the news? There are so many more important issues at hand then using profanities. No political party has ever mentioned cracking down on the use of profanities.
