Why I need to extend my vocabulary in English
... songs but that kind of words are not used in classroom or at the job. I will learn management so maybe in the future I will be forced to make some great deals between two or more big companies. Maybe I will lead some big multinational company so on some meeting I will must use some words in order to express myself precisely. And than I will need much greater and bigger vocabulary than I am using now. My present vocabulary is small and insufficient to do that kind of jobs. My father does not know so good English and that makes him lots of problems because where ever he goes in other country he needs someone to translate him what other people say to him. So he is now taking courses of English to improve his English and to be able to talk with other businessmen and to be able to say what ever he needs to say. Nowadays you are nobody and nothing if you do not know English. , when stranger sees that you do not know English he goes to some other from your branch, he makes deal with him, and by that action you lose all other potential costumers which know him. I want to be able to make deals on English, to read on English, to explain something on English and to be able to say that I know English. When I talk to some people, I see that I do not use too many words, I just use some of words, which I learned how to use. These words are not even 5% of completely English dictionary. I know just little amount of words. I do not use all of those words. I know a lot more of words than I am using at the moment. By conversation I want to use all my passive words, and by passive I mean on the words that I recognize when I hear or read them but I never used them because I do not know when I can use it or what that word means preciously. Moreover, by extending my vocabulary, I can extend my group of friends or colleges because I will be able to say to them what ever I want and be able to understand what they want say to me. So I will know them and therefore I will could tell that those people are my friends. By extending my vocabulary, I will be able to meet some girls and maybe someone of them becomes my girlfriend or maybe my wife, you could never know where our life can put us.
