report on the psalms of soloman
...o one among the Israelites who “ practiced righteousness or justice” The next section of the passage is the author asking God to “raise up for them their king” which we find out in the next line is Jesus because he is referred to as “the son of David”. The next big chunk of the passage refers to how Jesus will lead the people back to God, how great he will be and what he will accomplish. The author predicts in his prayer how Jesus will rule not only the Israelites but also the gentiles, and how he will make Jerusalem holy again. The author then prays that God will show his mercy on Israel and deliver them from the pollution of profane enemies . The author then closes out the prayer by stating that God is his King and will be forever. The Next Passage is another prayer to God this one however is not really a prayer of mercy like the last one it’s more a prayer of praise and thankfulness. It is a prayer of thankfulness cause the author could be thanking God for sending his son to protect over Israel. We as the readers can infer this from the line that states “ (You show) your goodness to Israel with a rich gift . And the eyes and ears the author is referring to in the next few...
