...s uniform left jobs, homes, and families and placed themselves in harms way should get an extra speacial thanks and know that their are a many great people who look at you as heros, leaders, ledgens, and just look up to you. We thank you for giving everything you could. We're sorry for the veterans who watched their friend fall, and sorry for the mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, and children who feel an aching loss. your faith to make it through such hardship is one like no other. You will never be forgotten. We owe our veterans so much and most know there is no possible way to actually repay for all you have done for us. Americans can start to fill our dept owed to veterans by honoring their sacrafices and recognizing that the bounties we enjoy today exist because of that sacrafice. Another is to honor our commitment to provide assistance to our veterans, paricularly the disabled or elderly. many veterans sacraficed opportunities for highter education to serve their country. others sustained in juries that left them disabled for life. Still others were killed, leaving behind spouses and children to fend for themselves. Vtereans benifits such as health care and housing assistance, are a small price to pay in exchange for the security of our way of life. unfortunatly there are many people who do not honor or respe...
