In Chomsky’s lecture, there are many strengths, however there are also many weaknesses as well as limitations one should consider. Norm Chomsky’s lectures are effective, because of his persuasive tone, and his arguments are well supported by solid evidence, however, it is also significant to note that he has limitations because of the bias he demonstrates. Throughout the lectures, it is significant to note that Chomsky only presents one side of the story. Chomsky constantly points out the faults of America, and he fails to recognize America’s accomplishments. Because of the bias Chomsky demonstrates in his lectures, it limits him from reaching his full potential of being a critical thinker. It is also significant to note, since Chomsky is opposing to the ideas and beliefs of his own government, it is important to take notice that though he is in a very unstable position, putting him at physical and mental risk of harm. This provokes Chomsky to be put in a precarious and cautious position, which leaves at him at a state of uneasiness.
