...show off our achievements, we are still well known. Canadians are very patriotic. We support our country, other countries, sports teams, and other people. The Canadian flag is found all over; in backyards, on vehicles, in homes, on rugs, carpets, and at businesses. Canada has always been ready and willing to help any province, or country in need. In “The Wheelchair” by Gabrielle Roy, our government was more than ready to help Isaac live a happier life, by sending him a wheelchair. We will go to all lengths to help someone in need. If, at anytime, someone closely related to Canada dies, we lower our flags to half-mast to show our sympathy. Canada is a very trustworthy nation. We trust our neighbours, allow other nationalities into our country, and we trust anyone with anything. Canada allows an abundance of different people into our country. There are different cultures, different backgrounds, a different race, and many different languages, to name a few. In Canada, as a whole, we have strong values and beliefs. We believe that everyone has their own opinion, and the right to speak their mind. Canadians respect everyone’s cultural ways, and accept many of those cultures as their own. Canada is a free nation because we believe strongly in freedom of speech, language, and the freedom of mobility.
