...rove himself again. Lenny is constantly killing things because of his great strength. He is sort of obsessed with fluffy things, including rabbits. George’s conflict is with himself. He doesn’t know what to do his life. He isn’t sure if he should give Lenny away to a hospital because of his condition and move on with his life, or keep Lenny with him but always have him as a burden. Curly’s wife has a problem with flirting with people and getting them in trouble. Eventually she gets killed by Lenny, when she finds out that she can relate to him. She lets him feel her hair, but Lenny pulls on her too hard and breaks her neck. Curly finds her and goes after Lenny. At the end, George decides to kill Lenny before Curly does and escapes from the ranch. This story ends in agony and contains a lot of person vs. person conflicts. I would recommend this book to other people, because of it being well written and saturated with morals. This concludes the essay that I have made for Of Mice and Men. Of Mice and Men The book, Of Mice and Men is a story about a friendship that was so powerful, it took one of the friend’s lives. So, although friendship can be good, it can also backfire. The story starts out in the south during the Great Depression. Two friends named, George and Lenny are looking for work. George is a young man who promised his Aunt Clara to take care of Lenny when she died. He took the promise and, as a result, he has to bring him everywhere. Lenny is a large man who is mentally challenged. He gets in trouble a lot, and so they always have to keep moving. They both have a vision of getting a farm and living the American dream. But, they don’t have the money to live this dream. They eventually find a farm that needs work. There, they meet new people who all have conflicts. For example, Curly has a problem with his anger. He treats people with great disrespect and is always trying to prove himself. Eventually, he is beaten by Lenny and after that, he never tries to ...
