One day while he is doing laundry in the lake, he sees an Indian trying to steal his horse. John scares the Indian away. Now John is curious about the Indians and he decides to prepare for another visit by the Indians. Soon John decides to go meet the Indians, not caring if they fire at him, because he is tired of waiting for them to come to him.
