So the question, will it be creamy our chunky peanut butter going on your sandwich? At first glance the two look very similar to one another on the outside, but as my Mom says, “It’s not what’s on the outside that counts; it’s what’s on the inside”. So let’s take a look at the inside of these. The creamy peanut butter is smooth throughout the whole container; it looks like brown butter. The chunky, on the other hand, is rough. In all honesty it looks like a little critter left a present in a plastic container for one to enjoy. This makes the two very different, but are there any more differences between these two? The answer is yes. The taste of the two is very different texture wise. The creamy peanut butter melts in your mouth and in your hand. While the chunky might melt also, it will leave behind the main difference between to two; its chunks of peanuts. Chewing the creamy peanut butter isn’t a good idea; your teeth could bang against each other resulting in a chip or crack. The crunchy, on the other hand, would need a little chewing unless you’re not scared of having your obituary read “death by peanut”.
