Dash casts light upon the face, shows concentration holding beyond the limits. A cold feeling overcomes the body numbing the mind to all possibilities of disaster. Adrenalin pumping magnifies feelings of frost at the fingertips grasping the ice-cold steering wheel until the knuckles turn white. Precise movements of the icy steering wheel leave a feeling of confidence in sharp relationship with the wheels. Brakes blazing with violent contradiction to the theory of grip allowed in such motion lead to a feeling of utter deception of control. Slight input of choppy throttle blips lend to feelings of limits far surpassed. Heat provides a light backdrop with its unique aroma sharply contrasting the pungent stench emitted by the burning brakes. Slight hints of slipping rubber on pavement with a strong musty smell of burnt rubber particles are intertwined in the delicious concoction for the nose. Excess fuel left unburned by the over worked motor exits into the night air leaving a sense of light headedness to add upon the feeling of natural high achieved when the limit is exceeded. Rubber dust coats the tongue of my dry mouth, parched by the wind on my open mouth. Salt creeps onto the wind cracked lips from perspiration, exposed from high levels of stress.
