What is Wisdom
...llows you to listen to others who have made mistakes and apply that information to your body of stored information, improving and strengthening your individual wisdom. Wisdom is also tempered and modified based on ones religious believes. For example, if two individuals were identical, had the same life experiences and insights, how would they react when confronted with the same situation, if one of the individuals were Christian, and the other was an atheist? One could argue that the Christian would apply his wisdom, instep with his religious believes. The atheist would not have the religious insight as a guiding light, therefore his reaction and decision-making would be different. The different teachings of different religions all expound upon wisdom, and the belief that the truly wise can only be wise when applying their wisdom through the teachings of their religion. Wisdom is greatly affected by religious differences. Wisdom is not something that travels well. When an individual obtains his body of knowledge from a limited source of information, or a consistently predictable source of information, the accumulated wisdom is limited based on these experiences. If an individual lives their life in the same home, does not travel, does not interact with new individuals, or otherwise obtain new information, can this person truly obtain wisdom? If this individual is taken to a new location, is their wisdom of any value now? Therefore, what may be a wise decision in one location may not be the wisest decision in another.
