...n Petersburg there are fewer building structures and more open land for things such as farms. Another reason why New York City is more congested in contrast to Petersburg is because in New York there are many forms of transportation. Some of these forms of transportation include public buses, taxis, and subways that are big in number because the population is so big. People also own their car, so when you add the people who own their own car plus the public transportations that come to pick and drop people off on a regular basis there is more congestion in the city than there is in Petersburg. This is true because public transportation is not as important in the country the way it is in the city since most people have cars so there isn’t as much congestion on the streets. Petersburg is more reserved in terms of dressing as oppose to New York City which is more fashionably trendy. More styles of dressing are accepted in New York because it is more culturally diverse. People in New York City wear things such as army fatigue jackets with pink shirts and denim jeans or short chinchilla coats to be stylish with denim bottoms. Pretty much anything goes. Some names of the different dress styles are urban fashion, casual sophisticated Manhattan fashion, and last but not least the grown and sexy look. This differs from how people generally dress in Petersburg because they wear plain clothing and don’t experiment with colors and fabrics as much as the people in New York do. Part of the reason why fashion is not a big deal in Petersburg is the fact that the population consists of more elderly people than in New York which varies with people of all ages.
