Well, I believe that my gender was given to me when the doctor looked at the parents and said three simple words: It's a girl! Before I even took my first breath of life outside my mother's womb, I was characterized by gender. I never had any saying regarding my gender. My parents, family and society constructed my gender. Growing up I adept how females “suppose” to act and behavior. It felt like I was given a written rule given to me to follow. Society always reward people that follow their rules and regulations. When someone chose to go outside the box, she/he gets punished. My gender deprives me from walking alone at night...
