The doctor was a Jewish man named Edward Bloch, who told Hitler’s mother she was dying of lung cancer. Hitler’s mother died on December 21, 1907, just a few days before Christmas. When Hitler was 25, he volunteered for World War 1. Hw eventually became wounded in the leg. After his recovery, he noticed an anti-war sentiment. He blamed much of this support on the Jewish community. After this, his hatred of Jews kept growing and growing. Hitler made many speeches against Jews. The crowd loved them. He then started the nazi party. By the end of 1920, he had about three thousand members. His organization finally grew so powerful, he was able to become leader of Germany. Hitler tried to make his utopia. He killed Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, and others who were in his eyes, ‘undesirable’, in concentration camps. A man named Himmler ran the concentration camps.
