...ry. His life has been bombarded by his parent’s separation and his mother’s affair with another man. He once saw his mother with this man who he considered him as “the man with the blonde hair” in the park while bike riding with his neighbor and/or best friend. It gave him a different perspective about his mother. He was angry with her and hardly spoke to her since that situation. He ends up landing in a lake in the middle of nowhere. He survives the crash with cuts, bruises, aches, and pains. At this point he is under water and realizes he must surface the water quickly before he runs out of air. He was lucky that he did not lose consciousness when the plane crashed. He reaches shore and passes out. He wakes up a day later and realizes that he wasn’t dreaming and that what happened was reality and his mission to survive begins. At the end of this book Brian has a different mentality and perspective about everything. He realizes that life is too short and that some things happen for a reason.
