This also benefits the woman because when they have thier menstraul period every month, then they know how to take care of themeselve for three to four days of thier period. I think the “rite of passage” for both man and woman mark the change of thier lives and help them to prepare for thier future. On the other question, I think that United States have rites like when a child in a family turns eightteen then this mark the change of being a teenagers and considered as a adult. By becoming an adult, they now have the right to move out of the house and start living on thier own. Also when they buy something like cigarrete in a store and show thier identification card in the seller, then they considered to be adult. By turning eightteen in United States, then you are considered as adult to the eye of the people and they treat you as one. On the other hand, setting up an official designation of being an adult has some benefits. For example, in the United States, people that turns eighteen are considered as adult.
