Comparison on Romeo and Juliet and West Side Story

Tony on the other hand didn’t die intentionally and was shot by Chino. Both were present while their best friend was killed by one of their loves family member. Another pair of characters is Juliet and Maria, both in love with and loved by their family and friend’s sworn enemies. They both met Romeo and Tony at a party and they both fell in love at first sight. In the end Juliet thought it wasn’t worth living unless she could be with her husband Romeo, who had killed himself after hearing of Juliet’s announced death. Therefore Juliet killed herself. Maria on the other hand didn’t kill herself when Tony was killed. The last comparison I will make is with the Nurse and Anita. They are both the best friends of Juliet and Maria. They help them in any way they can. They sent messages to Romeo and Tony when they were unable or forbidden to see them. They were both made fun of in the story.
