...es.Currently the Guidance Dept is recording this data on paper forms. This system is very antiquated and inefficient. There is a lot of paper, which makes it impossible to share information without someone having to look through many forms.With the new DBMS there should be a significant improvement in the process of data sharing and recording. Developing this database will be cost-effective being that licensing for MS Access is already in place school-wide and it will be developed with no cost attached. If implemented it could greatly improve how student information is recorded and shared.In addition, this DBMS will be web-enable to allow teachers to input any contact made with parents on-line and it will also permit the counselors, secretaries, administrators and the teachers to generate reports a...
