When at home, we all expect commercials. We tough them out because we realize that in exchange for free basic cable we are to be subjected to these thirty-second brain farts. But when we take time out of our day to visit a theater, dish out more money than Oprah spends on her audience during her special ‘giveaway’ episode, sit in seats stickier than the floor of your local sperm bank’s donor booth, and put up with those freakin’ kids in the back row that can’t seem to stop spitting their damn Goobers in your general direction, we expect to get to what we are there to see–and quick!
