...ities that they are involved in. there is also a lot more independence in college. you dont have your parents to tell you to go to class, or to study. you dont have to raise your hand to answer a question. you dont have to ask to leave the room. however there is a down side to the freedom. you are required t keep up with yourself. if you are absent you are required to get in touch with the teacher and find out what you missed. the teachers do not believe that they should have to keep up with all of the students in all of their classes. even without the parents any student would be overwhelmed by the freedom that they have in college.
