In contrast, the older waiter was not hurry; he could be all night working and serving the old man. He was one of those who do not want to go to bed and need a light for the night just like the old man and many others. I think that is why he could understand so well the old man. He also wanted to be in the café because somebody could need it; someone just like him and the old man who needed the light for the night. However, the younger waiter could understand in some way the alone...
