...m the exact dimensions with which to build it. God told Noah he was going to destroy the earth and all living things upon it with a flood. God established a covenant with Noah and told him to take into the ark his wife, his sons and their wives and two of all living things both male and female and these would be kept alive aboard the ark. God then caused a flood and destroyed all living things on the earth. Noah was six hundred years old when the flood occurred. He was six hundred and one when he again came on dry land. The living things with Noah and his family were released and God told them to go forth and multiply and replenish the earth. Noah then made a burnt offering of the clean beast and fowl he had taken aboard the ark. God smelled this offering and was pleased. God then promised that never again would there be a flood to cleanse the earth. Noah lived to be nine hundred and fifth years old. Time passed and man became wicked again. God sent his son Jesus through a virgin birth to Mary and Joseph to save his people from their sins. This is much different from the flood where he destroyed man for his sins. Jesus lived with Mary and Joseph as a child and when he became a man he went to John the Baptist and was baptized. The heavens then opened unto him and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon him and God said this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. Jesus was tempted by the devil many times but never gave in to temptation. After the devil had left him, angels came and ministered to him. Jesus preached throughout the land, the gospel of the kingdom of God. Multitudes of people came to follow him and Jesus worked the miracles of God.
