...he streets to use on their enemies. Drug use and HIV are at an all time high among our youth. Gang violence and drug dealers are holding many communities in this country hostage. Taking care of the situations here in this country should be the priority of the United States. Sending our money, men, and women to other countries to help them with their issues doesn’t help us with ours. Many people in this world are used to having their hands held when it comes to succeeding. Our country is famous for giving people free rides. There are times where situations arise and assistance is needed to survive. People die every day is Africa from starvation and disease. Helping those people should be a priority of everyone not just the United States. When a natural disaster occurs and devastates a country is should be the responsibility of every country to lend a helping hand. Giving help to those in need is not the problem. It is the people who depend and expect the help in order to live that is the problem. There is nothing wrong with helping others. It is wonderful that the United States thinks it has the resources to help out all the time. Always being bailed out of trouble by your “big brother” doesn’t help any of these countries develop stability. Having someone always looking over your shoulder to make sure you are doing the right thing doesn’t promote growth. Being the police officer...
