How Do I Learn
...an auditory learner, which is what I am. An auditory learner is a person who learns through hearing. They like to talk to themselves and repeat words and phrases out loud. I think this statement is true about me because this is what I do exactly. The second test I took is called “Day vs. Night.” Day vs. Night is a test that basically describes whether you are a day person, or a night person. A night person is a person who likes to do everything at night time such as; homework going to school, etc. Now a day person which I am is a person who likes to get everything done first thing in the morning. I like to get things done early that way I don’t have to stress, or think about it later. The next test I took after “Day vs. Night” was “Right or Left Brain.” That test was basically stating which side of the brain you use the most. Well I took the test and I found out that I am definitely a left brain person. Now a person who uses their left brain more is a person who will probably find it easier to do well in classes. They tend to be more organized, and use more logic, which I can agree because I am always organized, etc. As to the right brain, well the right brain is those who tend to focus on the whole part of something; they like to be imaginative, jump to conclusions, etc. Then after “right vs. left brain” I took a test called “Multiple Intelligence.” This is a test that gives you the ability to learn, and understand the ability to cope with a new situation. On this test there were eight different types of intelligence, and you had to figure out your own strengths and weaknesses by checking off what applies to you. The eight different types of intelligence are; Word Smart, Logic Smart, Picture Smart, Music Smart, Body Smart, People Smart, Self Smart, and Environment Smart. Word Smart people have the ability to express themselves verbally, this for people who are likely to be good writers and spellers. Logic Smart people have the ability to reason, solve abstract problems; this is for those who ask a lot of questions. Picture Smart people have the ability to think in three dimensions and recreate one’s experiences visually; they like to visualize each step basically. Music Smart people have the ability to hear pitch tone, and rhythm; they often sing or hum through out the day. Body Smart people are on control of the body, skillful handling of objects, they often use many gestures when they speak. People Smart people, well they interact well with other people. They...
