...been evident throughout history, different cultures have different rites of passage and rituals of channeling them to bring desired results. Thus, proving there is no right way to use a drum but, there are several ways and reasons the drum is used. The drum started in Africa, where they would use it to communicate with other tribes that were off in the distance. When needed the drum played a very important role in the lives of the African culture.
