... at the fields, as I step out of the truck a cool breeze hit me on my check and gives me a chill but also a smile. I climb into my stand an hour before sun light, I always have butterflies because it is so dark and there is just something about sitting in the woods in the dark that just makes you a little scared. But I do what my father always told me close my eyes say a prayer and it will be light before you know it. I sit there snuggled into my loggy tree stand I listen to the birds sing their beautiful songs. The squirrels climb out of their homes to gather their breakfast. The sun starts to shine down throw the branches and hits the forest floor it makes the most beautiful fall leaves turn colors you never would think possible. Then you here that oh so fumbler sound of deer work up the ridge eating acorns and walking back to their beds. When you see nature in its own it something special that most people will never enjoy.
