Introduction:
My assignment is talking about the past, present and expected future of management consultancy industry in Saudi Arabia especially after the great development that happened in the economic system of the Kingdom. Actually the Kingdom occupies a special position among the Arabian countries, being one of the biggest countries in production and exportation of the most important factor in industry, which is petroleum

Functions of management consultancy:
Consultancy specified in assisting each management of the company. The management structure is divided to three management levels first line: line of top management (strategic), second line: line of Middle management (technical), third line: line of small management (administrative). If management consultancy is present in a foundation, it will be in the line of top (strategic) management, however it services all the other managements specially the line of top management.
Top Management
A branch management can originate from those three Managements like sales management, personal management, and legal management.
Types of Management Consultancy:
According to administrative division there are tow types:
Type one: Internal management consultancy type tow: External management consultancy.
(I) The internal management consultancy: is the management present inside the organization and it is dependent on the organization’s shape and content as a part of the organization itself. ...
(II) The external management consultancy: is the management present as a matter of form and content outside the organization and represents an independent organization. The general form known in Saudi Arabia is the technical consultancy offices, the feasibility study offices and the expert houses. Management consultancy began in Sandi Arabia with the first type (internal). Management consultancy was a specific management inside the organization but because of the increase in demands for consultations from companies and institutes, specialist offices appeared for that demands.
