...t the teacher was saying. I tried to understand everything being said, leaving no questions in my mind. If I did have questions, I asked the teacher. I tried to nod my head at things that I understood, to let the teacher know that her lecture was getting through to me. I suppose that this was harder for me to do than a normal lecture because in a normal lecture I did not really do much of anything. I feel that I learned a great deal more than I did in a normal lecture. I think the teacher also noticed and as a result, she called on me more in class. I believe she did this because she knew that I was not just paying attention, but actually listening and understanding the material. During the day, I tried to fight the urge to talk. It was a rather hard task, but I did my best to keep quiet today. Instead of giving my input or opinion, I would listen to my friends and try to understand their points of view.
