...nute and when it came to studying for tests, she saved it for the day before to cram. Effort was something she didn’t care for too much, at least not in High School. Mrs. Brandt attended college at the University of Wisconsin Marathon County right after High School and then went to Stevens Point. Lori got married while continuing her studies in Stevens Point before she realized that she no longer had the time to ponder her career because she now had others to support and getting finished with a degree was something that needed fast action. At that time Mrs. Brandt had a son in preschool but after her major in marketing she decided that the degree in Marketing just wasn’t enough, and the position she had attained just wasn’t filling that void, and a further and her husband agreed that maybe further education was very important in the succession of her happiness and family life. Lori then attended the University of Wisconsin Marathon County for about a year and a half and then made the decision to continue on to the UW Colleges in these areas, Stevens Point, Green Bay, Superior, and Stout. Mrs. Brandt was still uncertain of her goals and the career she would ultimately choose for years to come. She informed friends and family of some of the career options where she thought she would be the happiest, but most people would reply and say things such as, “Are you sure? That stuffs kind of boring isn’t it?” Although Lori did not follow her heart, she ended up finding herself going down that path anyways. Lori finally received her final Bachelors Degree in Human Development Psychology. If Mrs. Brandt had a chance to do everything over again she said she wouldn’t change anything. There was one small matter of her prolonged time spent at college; she informed me that if she could have she would have finished school all at one time instead of dragging it on until she was about 30 years old. Mrs. Brandt likes to approach each and everyone as an individual because everyone has their individual needs. Mrs. Brandt’s job as an Academic Advisor pleases her very much because her job is always changing. The option of change in her career is very important to her because she gets bored very easily. The ever changing curriculum and variety of students let’s her explore in one place. Mrs. Brandt also enjoys the projects the UW has to offer every year for the employees to complete.
