That is the easiest thing to do yet so many people do not spend time with their kids. There are a lot of people who sit there kid in front of a t.v or send them to a friends house so they do not have to be bother by them. Not knowing that what they are doing is really hurting the kid. They keep putting their kid of on someone else until the kid is old enough to take care of themself. You never know that when you did not spend time with your kid it hurt them because it is not easy for them to tell you. They just do as they are told and stay quiet. Spending time with them can help them be a more social person. If you interact with them they will learn how to interact with others. They will probably feel more confident about themself also. To spend time with a kid does not take much. You can spend time with anybody, they could be a cousin, brother/sister neighbor or friend. Giving them at least five minutes of your time will mean a lot to them. It will show that someone really does care enough about them. It does not necessarily mean that you have to spend money when you spend time. Money is not an issue when it comes to spending time with them. All they need is you to be there for them. Talking to them and playing with them can help more than you think it can. Quality time is something that comes from your heart if you are going to spend time with a child make sure it is something that you want to do. You cannot be forced to spend time with them. If you do not want to then do not do it because it will so if you are not interested When you think about improving the community you think about the immediate community. You think about your neighborhood. Something that can be done to improve our community is put more teen community centers around the “hood”. Community centers will keep more kids off the street.
