...eme, because the things presented in these chapters are some of the very building blocks of the Christian idea and a big part of the idea of sin and salvation. In order for Adam to understand that his sins will be forgiven the future needed to be displayed. Also these books are very important because they are the books that Adam and Eve are banned from Eden in. Escorted out of paradise, Adam and Eve are in a state of dismay and God heard their prayers. That’s why he let them know that he planned on allowing his Son to act as an advocate for humankind, and eventually pay for humankind’s sins. Even though Adam and Eve were no longer pure, or allowed to live in the pure place, they could possibly be reunited with God after their death. God did show this through Michael’s vision to make things easier on them. Michael explains the story of the flood and the “second stock” of humans to help Adam understand that in the future humans would act more obediently to god and make sacrifices for him.
