When you slave for something, you put your heart and soul into it. That means it doesn’t involve a nice comfortable chair to sit in all day. This type of work usually consists of being on your feet for hours at a time and using muscles in your body that you never knew you had. In this category, the number of blisters on your hands at the end of the day shows whether you worked hard enough. For example, people who were raised on a farm or in the country usually fit work under this category. Their usual day consists of waking up at the crack of dawn, putting on their t-shirts and overalls, and getting ready for an extensive and excruciating day breaking their backs. Some days they put up fencing and others they irrigate the farm land. For instance, a teacher or councilor never has to pick up a shovel or put on some boots for their line of work. All day long they help others with problems and teach them valuable rules. A teacher works with a large number of kids about two-hundred and forty-five days of the year. Her job usually consists of teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic and maybe some detention here and there. She can be teaching seven year old kids or seventeen year old kids. A counselor’s day consists of sitting down listening to peoples problems and then in return telling them how to fix them.
